Born in Sydney, he first got involved in MMA at the age of 22 when a friend dragged him to a class. He instantly fell in love with the sport and has been training ever since.
Training under his idol and mentor, Dan Higgins, Noke has held titles in multiple weight classes in Australia and has his sets on following in Higgins' footsteps, considered by some to be the greatest Australian mixed martial artist to ever compete in the United States. Higgins and Noke spend their days training at the Australian Zoo, which was started by the late Steve Irwin.
